Call for Research Proposals 2010

Call for Research Proposals 2010

Applications are invited for funding under the:

  • Food Institutional Research Measure (FIRM)
  • Reseach Stimulus Fund (RSF)
  • Joint RSF/FIRM initiative
  • Competitive Forest Research for Development (COFORD)

These programmes, funded under the National Development Plan 2007-2013, provide funding for 'public good' research that is neither commissioned nor carried out in-house by individual companies.

All suitable institutions that can demonstrate the necessary research capabilities including Universities, Institutes of Technology and Teagasc are eligible to submit proposals.

Projects that involve collaboration between institutions (including Northern Ireland institutions where relevant) and/or involve the development of critical mass are encouraged. Industry involvement is welcome, where relevant.

The results of the research will be made available for the benefit of the agri-food industry and forestry sector, the consumer and policymakers.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Guidelines for Applicants (including detailed call specifications), Project Application Forms and Budget Spreadsheets can be downloaded via the links below.
